K Sathyanarayana Sastry Popularly known as SASTRY, Moved to Tirumala in the 1960s and started performing various rituals in Tirumala. He was a pioneer and the first person to start performing weddings and other rituals in Tirumala in a grand way. He was appointed as TTD Purohith and Managed the affairs of Sri Sringeri Shankara Math at Tirumala. He has performed approximately a lakh weddings and other rituals in Tirumala.

The legacy has been in vogue and Dr K Chandrasekhar, Son of Late Sri K Sathyanarayna Sastry a professional with lot of experience in various fields is continuing the great job. Several Celebrities and Ministers, IT Professionals, people from other countries have got their weddings and other rituals performed under his leadership. Some of the top weddings and celebrations with grand performances and decorations have been performed only by him at Tirumala.
